Goodnight for the last time in forever and a day
Dream, and when you wake we can think about the plane
But for now we can forget and be entangled in this instant
Forging memories from coffee mugs and paper cranes and words
That never capture exactly what we want to say
But wrap our minds in such a warmth that we know anyway

Our favorite songs are playing again
And they make me want to dance again
And hear the laughter of friends again
In the bright light of moonlit trails again
